Abstract:BACKGROUND
Superior mesenteric artery (SMA) injuries rarely occur during blunt abdominal injuries, with an incidence of < 1%. The clinical manifestations mainly include abdominal hemorrhage and peritoneal irritation, which progress rapidly and are easily misdiagnosed.
