Emergency Percutaneous Nephrostomy

Abstract: The primary indication for the urgent percutaneous nephrostomy is to relieve an obstructed and infected renal collecting system (pyonephrosis). Percutaneous nephrostomy catheter placement is a safe procedure with a high technical success rate.
