Abstract:AbstractThe tumour microenvironment (TME) is an important mediator of breast cancer progression. Cancer-associated fibroblasts (CAFs) constitute a major component of the TME and may originate from tissue-associated fibroblasts or infiltrating mesenchymal stromal cells (MSCs).
