“…Embolization can be performed with various agents such as steel coils placed in or adjacent to the pseudoaneurysm [34,35], liquids (sobutyl-2-cyanoacrylate) [36], absorbable gelatin sponges [37], or detachable balloons [38]. Embolization was successful in producing immediate occlusion of the pseudoaneurysm in all 6 cases in one report, with no recurrence of hemoptysis during a mean followup of 19 months [37].
