Eliminating remnant CA 19-9 half-life-dependent antigen: An innovative approach for a more accurate interpretation of tumour marker follow-up

Abstract: Objectives: Tumour markers provide insights into the course of disease and response to therapy in carcinoma patients, allowing physicians to determine changes in marker levels during disease. We aimed to evaluate the value of newly produced CA 19 9 levels in determining the response to treatment and prognosi in patients with pancreatic adenocarcinoma.
