Abstract:To determine whether 0.025% povidone-iodine (0.025% PI) in the irrigation solution during vitrectomy for endophthalmitis is safe. Methods: Two cases of bleb-associated endophthalmitis were treated with vitrectomy using 0.025% PI in the irrigation solution.
