Purpose: The study examined the influence of sponsor, client, project team and regulatory dynamics, on project performance of free maternity in Homabay County, Kenya.The research focused on factors other than healthcare costs to ensure adequate infrastructure and health personnel in order to offer quality care for the growing number of clients. Besides it added to the existing body of knowledge pertaining to the delivery of free maternity services thereby reducing and eliminating maternal and perinatal deaths. It was conducted in eight sub-county hospitals in the county. Methodology: A total of 167 respondents were selected to participate in the study. The data were entered and analyzed by SPSS version 16. The coefficient of determination showed that sponsor dynamics had a major contribution to the project performance. Findings: There was a significant positive relationship between sponsor dynamics and project performance of free maternal healthcare in Homabay County, Kenya. Unique contribution to theory, practice and policy: The study therefore recommended that Donors and other implementing agencies ought to make their procedures flexible in order to accommodate input from other project stakeholders.

This workshop will provide participants with an opportunity to discuss issues relating to the deposit and archiving of e-only theses; and create a forum for promoting inter-institutional collaboration and knowledge exchange.The workshop aims to invite discussion in such areas as challenges, barriers, opportunities, current practice, and lessons learnt from existing efforts; updates necessary in workflows, processes, and documentation; as well as elements that digital preservation policy and practice should include to cater for e-only theses submission; methods to capture embargoes, supplementary research data and non-traditional theses into IR and digital preservation records; and stakeholder requirements that need to be considered to facilitate submission of e-only theses and their preservation.Workshop proceedings and recommendations deriving from round table will be documented in a report that will be shared with participants and the wider community.

INFLIBNET (information library network) has gradually emerged as the backbone of the higher education sector of India. The remarkable initiatives taken by the INFLIBNET strive for strengthening and supporting information needs of the students, scholars, teachers, scientists, and peers. Scholars all around the world would be thankful to the INFLIBNET for their marvelous and ambitious project in the direction of bringing millions of theses and dissertation under the umbrella of OA. With 166,675 full-text ETD items and growing, it qualifies to be called a massive digital library (MDL). This chapter discusses the salient features, significance, and implications of the Shodhganga. It also discusses Shodhgangotri, a database consisting of approved research proposal submitted by the research scholars. The chapter concludes with discussion on the evaluation report of the Shodhganga website with the web-analyzer software Nibbler.
