Abstract:The results of electronic treatment in 29 incontinent women are described. The implanted stimulator was employed in 3 patients but was associated with a number of technical failures and complications. The electrode-bearing vaginal pessary produced worthwhile results in more than half of the patients. It is considered to have a place in selected cases in which surgery is contraindicated.
