They extended the analysis of several bands observed by Kaledin et al [2] and assigned many new bands. The lowest excited states were ascribed as (1)5, (1)3, and (2)4 states.…”

These results were then complemented by the study of Linton et al [6] from laser-induced fluorescence spectra recorded at high resolution by Fourier transform spectroscopy; both fixed frequency Ar + laser and a tunable ring dye laser operating in the regions of the 0-0 bands of the systems VIII and X (as cited in [2]) were used. Rather complex spectra were observed, but a number of classical fluorescence patterns with two or three main lines could be distinguished, sometimes associated with some relaxation lines.…”
