Electronic consultations (e-consults) to improve access to specialty care: A systematic review and narrative synthesis

Abstract: BackgroundWe define electronic consultations (“e-consults”) as asynchronous, consultative, provider-to-provider communications within a shared electronic health record (EHR) or web-based platform.
