Академический, 2/3) Аннотация. Рассмотрено упрочнение поверхности образцов из штамповой стали 5ХНМ комбинированным методом, заключающимся в последовательном проведении химико-термической обработки с последующей модификацией полученного диффузионного слоя с помощью импульсной электроннопучковой обработки с использованием источника электронов с плазменным катодом на основе дугового разряда низкого давления. Электронно-пучковую обработку проводили в экспериментальной установке «СОЛО», входящей в перечень уникальных электрофизических установок России. Представлены результаты локальной структурно-фазовой трансформации диффузионных бороалитированныхслоев за счет скоростного нагрева электронным пучком миллисекундной длительности. Проведен сравнительный анализ строения диффузионного слоя после химико-термической обработки и последующей модификации слоя импульсным электронным пучком. Изучена микротвердость, проведена оценка фазового состояния диффузионного слоя до и после электронно-пучкового воздействия. Электроннопучковая обработка диффузионного слоя приводит к повышению микротвердости, максимальное значений которой достигает 1400 HV, и к снижению шероховатости поверхности по параметру Ra (до семи раз). После электронно-пучковой обработки диффузионного слоя формируются фаза Fe2B, интерметалидные фазы FeAl, Fe2AlCr, CrSi2, обладающие высокой жаростойкостью, износостойкостью и коррозийной стойкостью. The discharge properties of post‐cathode plasma generated by grid electrode discharge were investigated. Post‐cathode plasma is the plasma, generated in an open discharge, at the other side of the cathode that is different from the electrode gap. Based on the unique electron transport, discharge chamber parameters were adjusted to compare their impact on the electron density of the post‐cathode plasma. The peak of the electron flow in the grid cathode hole and the peak of the post‐cathode plasma thickness appear in the same diameter of the grid electrode holes, which shows the crucial influence of the electron transport within the grid cathode on the post‐cathode plasma. The study also investigated the combined effects of cathode thickness and gas pressure on post‐cathode plasma thickness. The findings suggest that the primary factor influencing post‐cathode plasma thickness is the electron transport within the grid cathode.

The paper deals with the investigations of the discharge in hydrogen in the conditions close to that for the trigger units of the pseudospark switches. The following modes of discharge sustaining are classified: the Townsend discharge, the suppressed glow discharge with hollow cathode, the intermediate mode of the gradual transition from the suppressed discharge to the ordinary glow discharge, and the ordinary discharge in which the negative glow plasma occupies the whole depth of the cathode cavity. As applied to the ordinary discharge, the theoretical model that offers a possibility to estimate the negative glow parameters is developed. In the current range (1.6–10) mA the electron densities in the negative glow region are (1.7–8.7) 108cm–3. The interpretation for the mechanism of the current passage to the anode is also proposed based on the model. In particular, the explanation of the fact that at a low discharge current the region of the positive column plasma near the flat anode appears is given.
