“…The apical cell surface is sometimes followed into the ventricle by pseudopod-like projections of various shapes and sizes which are smoothly outlined and are free from such cellular organelles Upon the surface of the subcommissural cells facing the third ventricle, a laree number of microvilli, some cytoplasmic protrusions of the subcommissural as mitochondria and the granular endoplasmic reticulum except for a cluster of glycogen granules in some instances.
