Electron Impact Mass Spectrometry of Some 5-Substituted-2-(methylthiomethy1)-and 2-(Methylsulphonylmethyl)-2,3dihydrobenzofuransThe title compounds are easily synthesized by reaction of methyl(bismethy1thio)sulphonium hexachloroantimonate with 4-substituted-2-allylphenols (compounds 1-4) and further oxidation with 3-chloroperbenzoic acid (compounds 5-8).'Org.
