Electromagnetic torque analysis of wind-driven SRG with ferrite magnet

Abstract: The present paper analyses the effect of placing the ferrite magnet into the rotor air barrier of synchronous reluctance generators (SRG) on its electromagnetic performance. The paper uses a difference of average electromagnetic torque and ripple torque as a measure of the performance index.
