Electromagnetic Shielding Properties of Pack Borided MirraxTM Steel

Abstract: In this study, it was aimed to investigate the electromagnetic interference shielding (EMI-SE) as well as some physical and mechanical properties of pack borided Mirrax tool steel. Boriding process was carried out at 900, 950 and 1000°C for 2, 5, 8h, respectively. Optical images showed that borides layer have smooth morphology and flat interface with matrix.
