Electromagnetic Excitation of the Baryons Within the Covariant Spectator Formalism

Abstract: We present some results on the electromagnetic structure of the (1232), the N * (1535), and the − baryons, obtained within the Covariant Spectator framework. We discuss their connection to calculations of QCD in the lattice and the role of the meson cloud in the γ N → N * (1535) transition.
