Electromagnetic and radiative Casson fluid flow over a permeable vertical Riga-plate

Abstract: The convective Casson fluid flow past a Riga plate is investigated theoretically. The flow properties are elucidated through the analytical solutions of transport equations which are acquired by adopting the Laplace transform technique. This study mainly focuses on nonlinear flow characteristics under radiation, permeability and the wall parallel Lorentz force. The positive modified Hartmann number refers to the aiding flow which enhances the flow speed. The comparison between Newtonian and non-Newtonian fluid… Show more

“…The continually growing applications in such industrial processes have been arousing curiosity in the study of fluid flowing and heat transport over a Riga plate. As a result, much research [1][2][3][4][5][6][7][8] has explored a variety of heat transfer and flow problems for a range of fluids over the Riga plate and moving surfaces in the infinite liquid medium. The boundary layer motion for mixed convection of a nanofluid over a Riga plate is investigated in the existence of robust suction by Ahmad et al 9 The Newtonian fluid exhibits a linear relationship between strain and stress tensor, while non-Newtonian fluids exhibit a nonlinear relationship in nature.…”
