Electrolytic Conductance in Hydrogen Peroxide–water Mixtures: Part I. The Alkali Chlorides

Abstract: The equivalent conductance of a series of allcali chlorides has been measured in waterhydrogen peroxide rnixt~~res over the whole range of solvent con~position. The nleasurements were made by a simple direct-current method, and the r e s~~l t s obtained are interpreted in terms of the viscosity of the solvent.

“…From conductivity measurements on the alkali chlorides in the H 2 0 -H 2 0 2 system, it was concluded [114] that in pure H 2 0 2 it appeared that the solvation of the alkali metal cations decreases in the order Li > Na > K > Rb > Cs.…”
