Abstract:The problem of the current distribution and input impedance of a circular loop antenna in the form of an infinitesimally thin, perfectly conducting narrow strip coiled into a ring is considered. The antenna is located on the surface of an axially magnetized plasma column and is excited by a time-harmonic external voltage.
