Abstract:Electrodermal responses to novel sounds for 10 adult MR subjects were compared to behavioral hearing thresholds. The novel sounds were presented from 10dB below to 25dB above the subjects' behavioral hearing thresholds. There was no consistent pattern of electrodermal response and level of presentation. This procedure is not recommended for clinical use with the population studied.
