Electrodeposition of some metals from tetramethylurea

Abstract: Zinc, cadmium and bismuth have been electrodeposited on copper from tetramethylurea, a new organic electrolyte. The nature of the deposits so obtained was good. A more quantitative treatment of the electro‐deposition of these metals from this solvent is suggested.
