“…As shown in figure 5 From the analysis of the above research results, it can be seen that when the PbO 2 reacts directly with FAI, there is only the yellow phase δ-FAPbI 3 obtained. This may be due to the by-product water molecule synthesized when the reaction between PbO 2 and FAI, can induce the growth of the yellow phase δ-FAPbI 3 [31]. However, when we add the appropriate amount of CsBr dopants in the reaction between PbO 2 and FAI, the growth of yellow phase δ-FAPbI 3 can be inhibited, thereby leading to the growth of black phase α-FAPbI 3 .…”

“…The electrolyte aqueous solution is composed of 0.1 M Pb (CH 3 COO) 2 , 0.1 M HNO 3 , 0.2 M NaNO 3 , and 0.05 M NaCl). Referring to our previous studies [31,32], the electrodeposition voltage is usually set as 1.5 V with a deposition time of 15 s. The thickness of the PbO 2 film is 177 ± 13 nm. After the PbO 2 film was deposited, it was immersed in the mixed FAI/ CsBr solution (25 * 25 cm weighing bottle) at room temperature, which contains 1 ml FAI/isopropanol solution (60 mg ml −1 ) with different amounts (5 μl, 20 μl, 40 μl, 80 μl) CsBr/methanol solution (8 mg ml −1 ).…”

“…In a similar vein, Li et al conducted research on this topic last year. [35] After the ED of PbO 2 , they sequentially spin-coated FAI/MACl or MABr/FAI solutions to form a mixed PK layer. Interestingly, the addition of MABr as a dopant was found to suppress the emergence of the 𝛿-FAPbI 3 phase, which plays a distinct role in the reaction between PbO 2 and FAI.…”

“…Lead-based perovskite nanocrystals are considered as one of the most sustainable materials for the development of new-generation solar cells. Solar cells prepared incorporating perovskite material possess ideal optoelectronic properties that helped achieving an impressive power conversion efficiency of 25.5%. This performance of perovskite solar cells is higher than commercialized thin-film solar cells, such as silicon, GaAs, and Cu(In,Ga)Se 2 . However, despite their great potential, a persistent threat on future use and commercialization is the issue of toxic lead-content and longevity. …”
