Electrochemical Reduction Process for Pyroprocessing

Abstract: − Nuclear energy is expected to meet the growing energy demand while avoiding CO 2 emission. However, the problem of accumulating spent fuel from current nuclear power plants which is mainly composed of uranium oxides should be addressed. One of the most practical solutions is to reduce the spent oxide fuel and recycle it.
