“…A characteristic band at ∼450 cm –1 was observed in both spectra, assigned to the bending and stretching vibrations of the Ti–O and Ti–O–Ti framework bonds . For the rGO-modified TiO 2 nanoparticles, a new peak appeared at 1615 cm –1 , attributed to the C=C skeletal vibration mode of the graphitic domains, and two small peaks appeared at ∼1220 and 1430 cm –1 , assigned to the C–O–C and C–OH vibration modes, respectively, signifying the presence of a few remaining oxygen containing functionalities after the reduction of GO . In the XRD patterns of the samples, the characteristic diffraction peaks of the TiO 2 anatase phase were detected before and after modification with the graphitic sheets (Figure S5).…”

“…47 For the rGO-modified TiO 2 nanoparticles, a new peak appeared at 1615 cm −1 , attributed to the C=C skeletal vibration mode of the graphitic domains, and two small peaks appeared at ∼1220 and 1430 cm −1 , assigned to the C−O−C and C−OH vibration modes, respectively, signifying the presence of a few remaining oxygen containing functionalities after the reduction of GO. 48 In the XRD patterns of the samples, the characteristic diffraction peaks of the TiO 2 anatase phase were detected before and after modification with the graphitic sheets (Figure S5). However, the diffraction peaks of rGO were not evident after the surface modification of TiO 2 because rGO exhibits a main peak at 24.5°, which overlaps with the TiO 2 peak at 25.4°.…”

“…9(a) shows the cyclic voltammograms of pristine graphite and various EG samples, measured at a scan rate of 1 mV s −1 along −0.9 to 0 V. All samples, except EG 100 : 0, revealed electric double layer capacitive (EDLC) properties indicated by their pseudo-rectangular-shape CV profiles. 9,12 CV profile of EG 100 : 0 demonstrates oblique-shape CV profile, which allegedly caused by the high electrical resistivity of this sample. Table 3 shows the specific capacitance of samples measured at a scan rate of 1 mV s −1 .…”

“…7,8 The supercapacitor is a type of energy storage device with several advantages such as high power density, relatively long lifetime, and simple operation. 9 This superiority makes it suitable for the applications which require high power output and fast charge-discharge process such as load-levelling in various energy sources and energy recovery from regenerative braking in vehicles. 10 Compared to pristine graphene, EG is expected to show better long-term properties as a supercapacitor because it normally contains enough oxygen functional groups bound to its edges and basal planes.…”

“…The β-glycosidic linkage between G and M is found in 815 cm −1 signals [ 29 , 30 ]. The spectrum of nano graphene oxide powder indicated no major functional groups [ 31 , 32 ]. Fucoidan from Sargassum ilicifolium revealed the characteristics functional group of polysaccharides.…”
