“…Therefore, reduced O 2 ions can be transported to GDC via TPBs and inside the bulk of LSCF [63]. Required steps and ORR mechanisms in porous structures are explained further in other studies of the authors [26]. Sample 7, on the other hand, had large cracks which isolated the pieces due to macroscopic porosities.…”

“…Increasing some parameters led to degradation of film quality and macro cracks formed. Therefore, area specific resistance of coral micro-structured sample was lower than the cracked sample in the temperature range of 500e700 C. For a better comparison, studies involving conventionally formed LSCF methods like screen printing [67], infiltration [26], spray pyrolysis [68], PLD [69], RF magnetron sputtering [70], spin coating [71], with two different ESD study [55,60] are also added to that Fig. 9b.…”

“…The low-frequency (0.9 Hz) process observable only in the EIS response of LCM-SDC/SDC/YSZ-800 samples at 600 °C had a capacitance of 0.76 F/cm 2 (Table ). Low frequency processes with high capacitances have been related either to the oxygen incorporation into the perovskite lattice or concentration polarization. , Since the former process is characterized by a strong temperature dependence, while the latter is known to be almost independent of temperature, EIS measurements at 650 °C were also performed on the same sample to clarify the nature of the low frequency arc (Figure a inset). Increasing the measurement temperature from 600 to 650 °C resulted in significantly reduced resistances of the high and medium frequency processes (Table ).…”

“…The common electrolyte materials for SOFCs are ionic conductors, such as yttrium-stabilized zirconia (YSZ), gadolinia-doped ceria (GDC), samarium-doped cerium (SDC), (Bi 0.8 Er 0.2 ) 2 O 3 (ESB), strontium-/magnesium-doped lanthanum gallate (LSGM), , and some proton-conducting electrolyte materials . Therefore, materials with high electronic conductivity and catalytic activity are usually selected as precursor solutions when these electrolyte materials act as backbones.…”
