Electrochemical Performance of Iron Oxide Nanoflakes on Carbon Cloth under an External Magnetic Field

Abstract: In this work, the iron oxide (Fe 2 O 3 ) nanoflakes on carbon cloth (Fe 2 O 3 @CC) were triumphantly prepared and served as the electrode of supercapacitors. By applying an external magnetic field, we first find that the magnetic field could suppress the polarization phenomenon of electrochemical performance. Then, the influences of the mono-/bi-valent cations on the electrochemical properties of the Fe 2 O 3 @CC were investigated under a large external magnetic field (1 T) in this work. The chemical valences … Show more

“…The peaks at 37.2° and 44.5° are correspond to iron oxide (311 plane) and iron (011 plane) phases. [ 30,33 ] All carbons have the same amorphous phases except for the presence of different phases of iron species. The nitrogen adsorption–desorption isotherms are used to measure Brunauer–Emmett–Teller (BET) surface areas and pore size distributions (DFT method) of carbons.…”
