Abstract:This paper chose triadimenol as a corrosion inhibitor of copper in 0.5mol/L sulfuric acid. The properties of corrosion inhibition were investigated by the polarization measurement and electrochemical impedance spectroscopy (EIS). Polarization curves showed that both cathodic and anodic processes of copper corrosion were suppressed. The inhibiting efficiency increased as the increment of the inhibitor concentration and reached 86.7% at 50 mg/L. The results obtained from EIS measurements are in line with that ob… Show more

scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
