“…As seen in the table, the developed sensor showed comparable LOD with the most of the sensors even lower than that of a commercial BDD electrode mentioned in reference [18]. Our sensor owes a slightly higher LOD than that reported in reference [25]. However, this value is after a preconcentration step which was not used in our study.…”

“…No shift in peak potential (Ep) was observed for all scan cycles, which evidences weak adsorption of the oxidized TBZ on the Ag−MoS 2 /GCE surface. TBZ also showed similar electrochemical behavior on other electrodes such as GCE [24], MWCNT/MoS 2 /GCE [4], BDDE [18, 25], and ZnFe 2 O 4 /SWCNT/GCE [22]. Other TBZ families such as omeprazole on GCE [26], pantoprazole on GCE [27], rabeprazole on GCE [28], and carbendazim on boron‐doped diamond electrode [29] also showed similar irreversible electrochemical behavior.…”

“…18 Unlike conventional extraction techniques, CPE can be considered environmentally friendly since it is in accordance with the principles of "Green Chemistry". [19][20][21][22][23][24] In this procedure, diluted solutions of biodegradable non-ionic surfactants are used as an extracting medium, generating very little, low toxicity, non-volatile, and highly ammable laboratory waste. [19][20][21][22][23][24] Surfactant solutions have the ability to modify some properties in order to improve the sensitivity and/or selectivity of the analytical method.…”

[19][20][21][22][23][24] Surfactant solutions have the ability to modify some properties in order to improve the sensitivity and/or selectivity of the analytical method. The main characteristic of surfactants is the formation of supramolecular structures that have hydrophilic and hydrophobic structural regions, which associate dynamically and spontaneously in aqueous solution from a given micellar concentration, known as critical micellar concentration (CMC).…”
