Electrocatalytic Oxidation of Fe/EDTA Complexes at Lead Dioxide Electrodes

Abstract: The electrolytic oxidation of EDTA (ethylene diamine tetra acetic acid) and the EDTA complexes of Fe 2+,3 § was investigated at Pt and pure PbO2-film electrodes and As/PbO2 and Bi/PbO2 mixed oxide-film electrodes deposited on the Pt substrate. The reactivity of the mixed oxide electrodes was significantly greater than for the Pt and PbO2 electrodes.
