Electroacupuncture analgesia for colonoscopy: a prospective, randomized, placebo-controlled study

Abstract: Acupuncture may decrease the demand for sedative drugs during colonoscopy by reducing discomfort and anxiety of the patient and the well-known adverse effects of pharmacologic sedation.
