“…The AC impedance measurement was performed using the VoltaLab PGZ301 potentiostat with a frequency applied range from 100 kHz to 0.1 Hz with 10 mV AC signal amplitude. The EIS fitting analysis was performed with the Z-view software [24]. The digital source meter (Keithley 2420) was used to collect voltage (V) -current (I) from a single cell in the temperature range between 625 °C and 675 °C.…”

“…Therefore, it is important to improve the thermal expansion compatibility between the cathodes and the electrolytes. Zhou et al [24] have declared that LnBaCo 2 O 5+δ cathodes with an intermediate lanthanide-ion radius, such as Sm 3+ , may provide a compromise between the values of the catalytic activity and thermal expansion coefficients. Recent reports exhibit when A′ site is partially substituted by Sr, it could potentially improve the conductivity of double perovskite oxides where Sr-doped oxide YBa 0.5 Sr 0.5 Co 2 O 5+δ demonstrated excellent conductivity values (about 32 times higher than that of the Sr-free sample).…”

“…where M S is the molar mass of the sample, M O is the molar mass of oxygen, Dm is the sample mass change, and m is the sample mass at room temperature in air. 16 The room temperature oxygen nonstoichiometry of the calcined LBSC55 specimen was determined via iodometric titration. 17 The thermal expansion coefficient (TEC) of the LBSC55 sintered at 1100 C for 4 h was measured using a thermomechanical analyzer (TMA; Hitachi TMA7300) with a constant heating rate of 10 C min À1 in the temperature range of 25-800 C in static air.…”

“…The SBC specimen shows a linear expansion in the low temperature region (100-300 o C) and a slight increase in slope at higher temperatures region (300-800 o C). At higher temperature, a part of the smaller Co 4+ were reduced to larger Co 3+ or Co 2+ with a loss of oxygen, C 3+ ions are easy to transit from low-spin to high-spin state [14,[21][22][23].…”
