Electrical Properties of PANI/Chalcogenide Junctions Doped with Ionic Liquids Anions

Abstract: Ionic liquids like 1-butyl-3-methylimidazolium chloride ([BMIM] Cl, 1-butyl-3-methyl-imidazolium hexafluorophosphate [BMIM] PF6, 1-butyl-3-methyl-imidazolium tetrafluorobrate [BMIM] BF4, 1-butyl-3-methyl-imidazolium bis (trifluoromethylsulfonyl) imide [BMIM] NTf2) were used as doping elements in polyaniline. Pure polyaniline (EB) and polyaniline doped with different anions of ionic liquids (ESs) were chemically synthesized using ammonium peroxydisulphate (APS) and ionic liquids as oxidants. Junctions have been… Show more

“…22 Also, at a low temperature, the polymer chains were more ordered. [23][24][25] The XRD patterns of the flexible PAni sensors corroborated the conclusion that with a decreasing synthesis temperature, the intensity of the diffraction peak increased, supporting an increase in crystallinity, consistent to observations reported elsewhere. 26…”

“…It was found that 85 to 90% of the initial capacity was recovered whatever the electrolyte [31,38]. The CME was shown to be a convenient technique for studying the effects of the synthesis temperature on electrical properties of polyaniline and their electrochemical characteristics in a silver CME [129] or to synthesize and characterize Hgpolyaniline composite powder material [80] and Ag nanoparticles polyaniline powder material [107].…”
