Electrical field modelling at the cable joints

Abstract: There is a large number of parameters that influence to the way of the producing cable joints, and therefore the greatest attention is paid on the electrical field density shaping. This is done in order to efficiently reduce electrical field density, especially the tangential electrical field component at the insulator surface.
