Electrical efficiency and harmonic distortions with the use of frequency converters on systems of water pumping

Abstract: ⎯ The use of frequency converters in induction motor drive centrifugal pumps allows controlling the flow discharge systems provided by pumping through the rotation of the pump. The method of controlling the flow through the pump rotation, in terms of energy efficiency is much more effective in the reduction of electric power consumption and active power demand of the control method done by adjusting the valve opening or register.
