Electrical behavior of polycarbonate doped with nickel chloride

Abstract: SYNOPSISThe dc electrical conductivity (u) and permittivity (t') of polycarbonate (PC) discs doped with different concentrations of NiC12 are studied. Both (a) and ( t ' ) increase with increasing the concentration of NiC12, with a maximum value a t 30 wt %. The activation energies for pure and doped PC are 0.49 and 0.53 eV, respectively.
