Electric Equipment Diagnosis based on Wavelet Analysis

Abstract: Abstract. Due to electric equipment development and complication it is necessary to have a precise and intense diagnosis. Nowadays there are two basic ways of diagnosis: analog signal processing and digital signal processing. The latter is more preferable. The basic ways of digital signal processing (Fourier transform and Fast Fourier transform) include one of the modern methods based on wavelet transform. This research is dedicated to analyzing characteristic features and advantages of wavelet transform. This… Show more

“…Feedback can be executed with the help of different devices. As the ways of technical realization of feedback aren't principal while taking into consideration the processes of frequency and capacity regulation, we will take only the influence of kinds and parameters of feedback elements on hydraulic servo motor transferring function [8].…”

“…The electric power industry, as well as many others, frequently requires the assessment of risks of overvoltage [3,9], accidental losses and destruction caused either by real values exceeding standard operating limits or by reduction of service life parameters relative to regulations [4]. This requires the knowledge of total probabilistic characteristics of the parameters of interest in the form of laws of probability.…”
