Introdução: A disfagia orofaríngea é definida como um conjunto de alterações neuromusculares/obstrução mecânica que dificultam a deglutição, colocando em risco a segurança da via aérea e capacidade de a pessoa manter as suas necessidades nutritivas. A sua incidência aumenta com a idade causando complicações respiratórias, má nutrição e desidratação. Pretende-se, assim, conhecer a prevalência da disfagia em idosos institucionalizados em Portugal. Metodologia: Estudo de prevalência da disfagia em idosos institucionalizados, com recurso a uma amostragem não probabilística por conveniência em cinco estruturas residenciais para idosos em Portugal continental e Ilhas e usando como instrumento de recolha de dados o Gugging Swallowing Screen. Resultados: Dos 93 residentes incluídos no estudo, 60,22% apresentavam disfagia. Discussão: A prevalência de disfagia identificada é superior à evidência existente sobre estes dados para Portugal. Conclusão: Estes resultados poderão ter implicações na prática dos profissionais de saúde que exercem nestas instituições, especialmente a necessidade de se integrarem nestas equipas enfermeiros especialistas em Enfermagem de Reabilitação para identificação e intervenção precoces, procurando assim minimizar complicações.

Objective: To describe the influence of institutional routines on interpersonal conflicts among institutionalized elderly women. Method: A qualitative study, with an ethnographic framework, performed with 17 elderly women in a Long-Term Care Facility. The field immersion occurred from August 2017 to May 2018. The data were produced by participant observation and fieldnotes and analyzed through the sociocultural perspective with theoretical tools related to the total institutions described by Erving Goffman. Results: External bonds outside the institution and the routines were trigger factors of conflicts in the Long-Term Care Facility. The dissatisfaction with the lack of external bonds was noticed in the impossibility of leaving with family members, receiving visits, objects, money, foods, or attention. The standardization and collectivization of internal routines of basic activities generated dissatisfaction and challenged the elderly women’s tolerance towards the norms. Such situations facilitated interpersonal conflicts in the institutional environment. Conclusion: The conflicts occurred among elderly women and professionals, and among them, from the insubordination of the elderly, based on the idea of reaffirming their individualities.

Distributed System Vulnerability Model Based on Reliability Theory

One of the key issues of information security is software vulnerabilities in computer systems. Malicious attackers can exploit security vulnerabilities to gain privileges, access unauthorized system resources, and even change sensitive data. The main purpose of this paper is the vulnerability model of distributed systems based on reliability theory. This paper directly analyzes the machine instruction, formulates the corresponding standard model, and studies the corresponding model control method. This paper presents an analytical method that uses reliability theory to introduce the Fuzzing random test method. The method uses static analysis techniques to gather information about the structure of the system, its interfaces, and useful code regions, and then develops test problems for executing the useful code regions-for which this paper uses genetic algorithms to understand. It guides the generation of test data and overcomes the shortcomings of random fuzzing methods in terms of large and unpredictable test data sets. The method also analyzes files that can be executed directly without the source code of the program. Experiments show that the vulnerability model system constructed in this paper is more realistic. The parallel login response time of the system in this paper is about 0.12s, and the parallel use response time is about 0.2s.
