Abstract:ABSTRACT:We present a theoretical study on electron-N 2 O collision in the low energy range. More specifically, we report calculated elastic and rotationally inelastic differential, integral, and momentum transfer cross sections in the 1.5-30-eV range. An optical potential is used to represent the electron-molecule interaction. The Schwinger variational method is used to solve the scattering equations. In addition, the adiabaticnuclei-rotation approximation is applied to calculate rotational inelastic cross-se… Show more
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
