Elasmobranchs’ metabarcoding requires a pragmatic approach to reach its promises

Abstract: Human impacts have been eroding marine ecosystems in such a way that biodiversity patterns are changing. Therefore, policies and science-based solutions are indispensable for monitoring threats to the most impacted species.
