Abstract:Glycyrrhizic acid (GLY), Ellagic acid (EA), and kaempferol (KAE) can be detected simultaneously using the suggested herbal formulation using a simple, precise, and proven high performance thin layer chromatography (HPTLC) method. Using Merck TLC aluminum sheets of silica gel G60 F254 with a 200 µm thickness, the separation was carried out using ethyl acetate: toluene: formic acid (4.5:4.5:1 v/v/v) as the mobile phase.
