El turismo internacional desde las teorías de las Relaciones Internacionales

Abstract

This article considers the tourist phenomenon as an object of international studies. The aim of this research is to understand the nature of the power that can be built from tourism in the international sphere. In this sense, several theories of International Relations are used to analyze different aspects of the international tourism. These theories are organized according to the paradigms they belong to: realism, internationalism and universalism. As a result of this study, original perspectives of the tourist phenomenon in its global dimension are revealed.
