“…In the execution of the MoCA, the subjects' education level has an important effect, as previously established by other authors (Rosselli et al ., ; Lozano et al ., ; Gómez et al ., ) and as occurs in most screening tests (Yu et al ., ). In our experience in Bogotá, Colombia, the execution of the MoCA drop along with the education level and the cutoff score had to be lower (≥23) than the cutoff score suggested by the original designers of the test (≥26; Nasreddine et al ., ), even though the average educational levels of the different subgroups within the study were similar to the population averages in the location where the MoCA was originally validated.…”
