El concepto de <i>taypi ch'ixi</i> como aporte al estudio de la poesía mapuche bilingüe

Abstract

ResumoEn los tejidos andinos aymara, el taypi es el centro que ordena las simetrías, asimetrías y ritmos de la práctica textil. Silvia Rivera Cusicanqui retoma el concepto para referirse a un taypi chꞌixi como el espacio donde lo indígena y lo occidental se entretejen y donde se evidencia la vitalidad de la compleja trama cultural latinoamericana. El presente trabajo busca indagar en la profundidad conceptual y la aplicabilidad de nociones como chꞌixi y taypi para analizar la práctica autotraductora en la actual poesía originaria bilingüe como un espacio intermedio pleno de tensiones, un tejido urdido en el conflicto y la complementariedad entre lenguas, culturas y subjetividades. Se analizarán poemas y metatextos de dos autores mapuche, Leonel Lienlaf y Adriana Paredes Pinda, en los que se plantea la tensión entre oralidad y escritura.Palavras chaves: autotraducción; taypi chꞌixi; poesía mapuche.El concepto de taypi chꞌixi como aporte al estudio de la poesía mapuche bilingüe AbstractIn Andean Aymara weaving, the taypi is the center which arranges the symmetries, asymmetries and rhythms of the textile practice. Silvia Rivera Cusicanqui takes up this concept to refer to a taypi chꞌixi as the space where the Indigenous and the Western interweave, and the vitality of the complex Latin American cultural fabric is evinced. This work seeks to study the conceptual depth and the applicability of notions such as chꞌixi and taypi to analyze self-translation in current bilingual poetry of Indigenous authorship as an in-between space of tension, a fabric weaved in the conflict and complementarity among languages, cultures and subjectivities. This discussion will be followed by the analysis of poems and metatexts by the Mapuche authors Leonel Lienlaf and Adriana Pinda, which deal particularly with the tension between orality and writing.
