Abstract:Luciano Berriatúa made in 1975 the only film adaptation of El Buscón de Quevedo. It follows the literary text, maintaining the essentials to make it recognizable. The most relevant aspects are the construction of the dialogues, the narrative form it adopts, the correspondences, alterations, deletions and additions, including those of other Golden Age authors who are not in the hypotext.
