Eingeschränkte Therapie beim Prostatakarzinom

Abstract: Die Wertung der therapeutischen Optionen für das lokal begrenzte Prostatakarzinom unter dem Aspekt des Organ- bzw. Funktionserhalts führt zu folgender Einschätzung: eine präzise Diagnostik mit Festlegung des Tumorstadiums, die Berücksichtigung von Alter, besonderer Risiken und persönlicher Vorstellungen von seiten des Patienten, sind entscheidend für den einzuschlagenden Therapieplan.
