Einfluß von Rekristallisation und Korngrenzenausscheidungen auf die mechanischen Eigenschaften des warmumgeformten X 2 NiCoMoTi 18 12 4-Stahles

Abstract: Thermische Versprödung durch Korngrenzenausscheidungen. Ablauf der Rekristallisation nach Warmumformung. Ermittlung des Zeit‐Temperatur‐Ausscheidung‐Verhaltens in Abhängigkeit vom Warmumformgrad und Ausgangszustand. Auswirkung auf Festigkeits‐ und Zähigkeitswerte. Modifizierte Umformmethode.

“…Zechmeister et al [54] reported an increase in the yield and ultimate tensile strength values in C18Ni2400 with decrease in PAG size, when there was no decoration of the grain boundaries with carbides; a Hall -Petch relationship was obeyed.…”

“…Zechmeister et al [54] showed that fracture toughness of maraging steel embrittled by grain boundary precipitation of titanium carbonitrides can be considerably improved by a sufficiently high amount of hot forming in the temperature range in which TE occurs. By destroying the grain boundary network of carbonitrides the hot working operation contributes to improvement in fracture toughness.…”

“…Figure 2 shows schematically the proposed hot working schedule. It was taken note that rings of low alloy steels of similar size were rolled by using pre-heating temperatures in the range 1100 -1150 o C. Zechmeister et al, [2] showed that K Ic of maraging steel embrittled by grain boundary precipitation of titanium carbonitrides can be considerably improved by a sufficiently high amount of hot forming in the temperature range in which thermal embrittlement occurs. By destroying the grain boundary network of carbonitrides, the hot working contributes to improvement in K Ic.…”
