Eighth Amendment and Juveniles

Abstract

There is much uncertainty about the reach of the Eighth Amendment to juvenile offenders. Though this amendment has been used to effectively end the juvenile death penalty, whether it will have the same impact with regards to other areas such as juvenile sentencing remains to be seen.
