“…Specifically, the articles published in the CAR were categorized by author's institution/organization affiliation, classification by subject category, and geographical grouping of contributing authors and institutions/organizations. The methodology used in this study to explore the contribution of authors to the CAR was very similar to one used by the author to analyze the content and contributions of another peer-reviewed professional journal (Woods et al, 1989). This exploratory study identified and categorized aviation faculty and industry professionals who have led the aviation profession, academically, and what important issues and challenges they have identified in their scholarly writings over the past 28 years.…”
