Efficient Quantum Imaginary Time Evolution by Drifting Real-Time Evolution: An Approach with Low Gate and Measurement Complexity

Abstract: Quantum imaginary time evolution (QITE) is one of the promising candidates for finding the eigenvalues and eigenstates of a Hamiltonian on a quantum computer.
