Efficient multi-exciton emission from quantum dots.

Abstract: The fundamental spontaneous emission rate an emitter can be modified by its photonic environment. By enhancing the spontaneous emission rate, there is a possibility of extracting multi-exciton energies through radiative decay. In this report, we explore using high Q and small volume cavities to enhance the spontaneous emission rate.
